The day was relaxed, joyful, and completely about them — no stress, no dramas, just sun, ocean, and incredible photo opportunities everywhere you turned. After exploring and photographing the island, we wrapped up with a beautiful grazing platter and quiet celebration. It was a stunning reminder that sometimes the most unforgettable weddings happen when you escape it all and focus on the people who matter most.
Ash and Mitch’s elopement on Lord Howe Island was a breathtaking escape in the middle of nowhere. With just the two of them, their celebrant, planner, and me, they said “I do” at Lovers Bay, overlooking the island’s iconic volcanic peaks. The island’s pristine beaches, abundant wildlife, and Jurassic Park–like scenery made it the perfect private paradise for their intimate ceremony.
