I got married myself twelve years ago, and one of my biggest regrets is not having enough photos of the people who showed up for me — friends, family, the ones who mattered most.
At the time it didn't feel important. Looking back now, it really does.
My dad passed away earlier this year. It was the saddest day of my life, and it's given me more purpose than ever to make sure you don't walk away with that same regret.
One day, even a "boring" photo of someone at your wedding is going to mean everything.
I know what it's like to wish you had more, and that you never get that day back — or the people in it. So when I'm photographing your wedding, I'm not just thinking about the shot. I'm thinking about future-you, looking back and grateful it's all there.
That's my why.
It’s about honouring your story of us, however that looks. Beautiful chaos and all.
Decades from now, it won’t be the curated images that will stick with you. It’s remembering how it all felt, and knowing you stayed true to yourselves.
